okay I love the name Maverick-means nonconformist and I love Chosen for a name but I was looking for names with the same meaning as Maverick and a name similar to Chosen. Also another name that incorporates Angela in it but not Angelina, Angelo, Angel, Angelica, or Angelique i'm looking for something different. And the same thing with the name Robert but not Robbie, Bobbie, Roberta etc.

You're looking for names that don't exist.

Ha ha ! The names you mentioned (Robert, Angela) are the names of two of my kids. What a funny coincidence ! As for incorporating them and being unique, my friend Gissele named her son Rangel. I've no bloody idea what it means, but it's a damn pretty name !

@Acaciaqu like Angela but with an ee sound at the end.

I can’t think of anything with the exact same meaning as Maverick, but a few that have the same ‘feel’- Chance, Colt, Wilder, Ryker

Similar thing with Angel names, but some which mean angel and sounds similar are Arella or Aniela. For Robert, I can only think of Bertie For a boy or Bertha and Auberta for a girl.

Isn't it Anjali, and has nothing to do with Angela, other than sounding similar. It's a girl's name.

Michaelangelo?
Robertangelo?

Angelbert? Engelbert?

Emmeline

Do you want to share your ethnic background? It might help us come up with names.

If I liked the concept of Maverick (as in meaning), I might think about Luther (Martin Luther King Jr), Rosa (Rosa Parks), Emmeline (Pankhurst), Keir (Harding), Oliver (Cromwell - ok just kidding), Blake (William Blake the poet)

I'm not sure that Maverick has a nice meaning.
You could try Wrangler (well he might hang out with a pair of Levis) or Freethinker.

Trebor?
Alegna? - I think it looks quite exotic and could be pronounce Al-ain-ee-a

@pallisers When I say Maverick, I am looking for a name that means nonconformist.

You do know that you'll end up with the most conformist, conservative child ever, right?
