We've narrowed our list down to Lucie, Rose, Saskia and Anna. Please tell us your favourite - least favourite.

Surname is 3 syllables long.

We have a Jack, Genevieve and Ellen.

Thank you!

Love Anna and Lucy (not Lucie) Classical.

Saskia doesn't sit well with your DC's names imo. It's my least favorite. Dated.

@Spied thank you. We're loving Anna but don't know if it's too "plain" but then again all of our DCs have safe names so..

I think they all sit well with your other childrens names, except Saskia.

Definitely not plain. It's strong, unpretentious, but pretty and it will never date.

Saskia

Not Saskia. The others are all lovely but spell Lucy with a y or you’re setting her up for a lifetime of correcting people, and it looks like you’re trying to be different, even though I think it is an old way of spelling it?

@Wheresthesanitygone I get what you're saying. My dad is French so it was kind of inspired by that but might be something to think twice about..I guess it just looks pretty to me but maybe Lucy is more classic? Will definitely take it into account.

Your name choices are gorgeous! Of both your current kids and the one to come. If I had to rank them I'd probably go with:

Rose
Saskia
Lucie
Anna

I love Anna, but when saying "Ellen and Anna" at the end of your list, it was a bit more clunky than the others.

Any of them are lovely though!

They are all really nice names. Anna is my favourite. Think I would prefer Rosa over Rose as a bit more unusual, that's up to you though. They'd all go well with your other DC's names.

I like both Anna Rose and Lucy Rose.

Lucy is lovely. Then Anna then Rose. Not a fan of saskia personally.

My youngest is Anna and I love it. She was very nearly Hannah but I'm glad we went with Anna.

I think the Lucie spelling is more popular at the moment, so maybe won't be too much of a problem if you chose that spelling.
It's the same with a lot of names that can be spelt with a "y" or "ie" - "Is it Holly with a "y" or "ie"?"

Anna is my favourite from your list. Beautiful and never dates.
I have a Hannah, but I like Anna too.

Have you thought about combining Rose and Anna for Rosanna?

@PastramiAndRye I have a Hannah who was almost Anna. Grin .
I like both though.

I actually think Saskia goes best with your other 3 DC's names. All the names you've picked are really nice, but Saskia is my favourite as it's a bit more sophisticated and unusual. :)

Lucy or Rose

Anna isn’t boring at all by the way- it’s gorgeous! Names are so frilly these days (“Lily-belle” etc) , so refreshing to hear a Lucy Rose or Anna! Love it

Personally I find Anna, Rose and Lucy a little dull. Would prefer Anya to Anna.
Saskia is much more interesting.

Lucy is a lovely name. Nothing makes my insides squirm more than this twee -ie nonsense with names that have functioned perfectly well with -y endings for decades, if not centuries. Hollie, Poppie, Daisie, Teddie and the like have all got to grow up and be adults. The only excuse for Lucie is actually being French. In France.
