There were 4 in my year at school (90's) so it was very common then. Presumably not very common now though.

I'm not sure I would describe it as dated but it's definitely a name I associate with a particular time period - Rebeccas are just turning 40

Timeless, lovely name, not too common.
I may be biased as Dd1 is called Rebecca! She is in her 20's now. There were quite a few around when she was little but she was always the only one in her class. Don't know many others now.
