Husband is totally set. It isn’t a name I have ever really come across and is very different to anything I’d normally pick.

I am so on the fence as to wether I love or hate?

Oh I like that. I have heard it before but I doubt it's common. I guess it just depends if you want something more mainstream or not?

I should have mentioned that we already have a boy called Noah.

I like it. It's the name of a character in one of my favourite series of books so I may be slightly biased towards it!

SaintFlamingo Tue 11-Feb-20 21:28:33

When I lived in Winchester, it was the name of a shitty club

Bit tacky

In all honesty I dont like the name. I know someone who's daughter is called Savannah and I just cant like the name

Hepsibar Tue 11-Feb-20 21:30:55

I really like it.

ironicname Tue 11-Feb-20 21:31:09

It makes me think of an exotic dancer.

missmouse101 Tue 11-Feb-20 21:34:28

I agree with it sounding a bit tacky. Like Chardonnay!

ilovepixie Tue 11-Feb-20 21:34:38

Isn't one of Peter Philips daughter called that?

ElfishBiatch Tue 11-Feb-20 21:39:12

I don’t like it.

Kanga83 Tue 11-Feb-20 21:44:38

I don't like it. It's in the Chardonnay, hyphenated names and Nevaeh camp for me.

DeanaWinchester Tue 11-Feb-20 21:45:04

I like it. I think her sister is Autumn which I also like.

clpsmum Tue 11-Feb-20 21:47:23

Love it and think it sounds lovely with Noah. Both gorgeous names

Ihaveamind Tue 11-Feb-20 21:47:42

It makes me think of the American South. Think it goes well with Noah.

tomatosoup4 Tue 11-Feb-20 21:47:48

I love it, it was 2nd on my list for Dd we chose Scarlett in the end.

Shockers Tue 11-Feb-20 21:48:28

I don’t know why, but whenever I hear the name, I see it as beige. I see some names as rich colours and some as bland- Savannah is a bland colour, and that puts me off it.

Odd, I know.

A savanna or savannah is a mixed woodland-grassland ecosystem

Did your DH not do geography at school?

Go for Susannah instead?

bakingcupcakes Tue 11-Feb-20 21:49:01

@DeanaWinchester Yep Otherworld. I have them all and have re-read them lots!

Likethebattle Tue 11-Feb-20 21:49:16

I know someone with a daughter called Savannah. It’s nice.

daisypond Tue 11-Feb-20 21:49:21

I like it. I know a couple in their early 20s.

HeronLanyon Tue 11-Feb-20 21:51:58

I think -
Georgia. Always love it as city name.
Africa. Wildlife.
Name - feels a bit 90s (?) to me. Not fond of it at all but who cares. If you love it use it.
Congrats bye.
