Nether because the shanes I know have been, err, problematic. So that puts me off but shein? Is that even a thing?

Shein is not a name.

Shein like the cheap online clothing store?!

Shane. It's a bit of a "Gary", but the better of the two.

What about Shayne?

Shein like the shitty clothes?

If honesty’s what you want, I think all variations are very dated.

A 1970s name. For a German shepherd.

Muddlingalongalone · 12/01/2020 22:08

Sorry OP also thought of the clothes retailer.
Shane for me although not hugely keen.

Report
Elouera · 12/01/2020 22:10

Sorry, but both are awful! Shane is better of the 2 as the other would be mispronounced and misspelt all the time.

Sean

MountainPeakGeek · 12/01/2020 22:48

If you kind of liked the sound of Shane, Sean is an obvious (and far nicer) alternative.

I agree with pp that Sean is a better alternative if you like those sounds. Aidan is okay, and better than Shane, but I do think you should stick to Aidan spelling.
