..Poppy?

I am expecting my 3rd DC in May and would love to call her Poppy Isabella. My DD says she really likes this name too. My DH is quite keen, and I prefer it to Isabella as a first name which was going to be my choice originally.

Any suggestions for alternative names please?

Poppy is very twee.

Polly is similar, but much less twee IMO.

You can’t have Charlotte if you already have a Charlie!

Poppy Isabella is a lovely name. Why do you need an alternative?

I guess I am thinking of the baby being grown up with a name like Poppy that does sound a bit twee, I agree.

I really like Daisy and also Sophia too, but I think my DH isn't as keen.

I really wanted to say Lola but I think it’s because of the tv snow so ignore me!

I also like the name Lola, but I agree about the TV show reference which would be a bit mad!

I am quite keen on Ava too.

I think Lola is lovely btw and I wouldn’t worry about the TV prog, it won’t be around forever and you have a third child so it’s not like cards will be signed “Charlie and Lola”

Poppy is such a popular name these days that growing up, it won't be twee, it's this generations Rachel or Rebecca. Lots about but not so many that there's three in every class.

It's s pretty name. You all like it. Stop doubting yourself. When you know, you know.
