(76 Posts)Looking for a name for our newborn baby girl. Her sister's name is Charlotte, and need help to figure out a matching name that goes with Charlotte. Here are the names on my list. I would love to hear your opinions about them, or any suggestion or other ideas that you might have!
Evelyn
Emily
Annabelle (love it, sounds beautiful, but somewhat concerned about the recent horror movie series with the same name)
Isabelle (would be my alternative to Annabelle)
Chloe (also begins with a 'C')
Vivian/Vivien/Vivienne/Lillian
Emma
Thank you all!
We have charlotte (lottie) and eliza
I’ve always loved Emily.
Francesca
Octavia
Jessica
Eloise
Love Annabelle from your list.
I love Evelyn. Sadly never had a daughter to use it.
I think Emily goes really well.
But whenever I imagine Charlotte's sister she's called Sophie.
Before I read your list I thought Emma.
So, Emma.
We have a Lucy, and Charlotte is top of our list if we have another girl!
I thought Annabel before I even opened this thread.
Hattie? Charlotte and Hattie sounds cute
Emmeline and Charlotte
Georgina
Is she likely to use an abbreviation of her name and, if so, is that likely to be Lottie or Charlie? Lottie and Lilly (if you went for Lilian) are a bit of mouthful; Charlie and Lilly aren't.
❤️ Vivienne, Georgina also goes well with Charlotte
Natasha
Alexandra.
Elizabeth or Samantha.
Congratulations!
Charlottes I know have the following sisters:
Anna, Eloise, Isabelle, Katharine, Louisa, Polly, Sasha, Sophie, Susanna.
I like Annabel (prefer this spelling) and Emma best from your list - and pp also mentioned Eliza, which fits beautifully I think.
Charlotte and Penelope
Charlotte and Tabitha.
I came on to say Emily and I see it’s on your list.
Lydia
