Nicknames For Aunts / Aunties

What are some cute nicknames for an Aunt other then Auntie or Tia?

Can't really shorten my name to anything like Coco or Gigi so I'm finding it hard to pick one + I really don't want to be called Aunt.

We call ours AInitial. So AJ or AD depending on the Aunts initial.

If you don't want to be called aunt or auntie why not just use your given name. Chances are the child will naturally mispronounce your name and so your nickname will reveal itself.

Why does your name need to be shortened?

My aunts and uncles are all known by their proper names eg uncle Eric and aunt Sarah.

It's true what the pp said above, just let them use your name and they will pronounce it in their own baby way, which often becomes a cute title. My dd1 couldn't pronounce my sis in laws name and so said it her own cute way, it stuck and the others tend to use it as well.

Initials idea is really good but definitely doesn't work with mine, just sounds a bit strange. :/

What about Tatie - French dim for aunt, or Zia which is Italian for aunt.

This is... weird, no? I honestly think it's helpful for children to call their relatives by titles so that they get everyone straight: aunties, uncles, grannies, grandads, mums and dads. Calling everyone by their name is also fine. But having a nickname for everyone in their family? That no one except the children use? That's just confusing as heck.

But also, in that situation, I would be totally fine being the odd one out.
