Hi All,

We are having another Daughter next year, and would really like some ideas of names.
The sort of names we like are a little bit different, but not totally nuts.

Our current Daughter is called Cora, and the names we have on our list so far are:

Etta
Poppy (worried it might be too popular?)
Evie

I think Etta is a favourite, however also struggling for a middle name to go with this??

I like Poppy best. Evie is nice but has been super-popular in the past few years along with Eve, Eva and Ava. Personally I'm not so keen on Etta as a stand-alone name, and prefer it as nickname for Julietta, Harriet, Scarlett, Marietta etc. but if you love it that's what counts!

Poppy is lovely. I’m not fussed on Evie. Eva is nicer and fits well with Cora. I can’t stand Etta and I certainly wouldn’t have Etta Clementine.
It sounds too much like you’re saying

Nikster11, have a look at my suggestions of middle names. Rose is nice but a bit overused as a MN.
I was tempted to add Sandwich or Biscuit

Cora is a good strong, name & needs something to complement that. Etta works, as does Eva.

Not Evie, and particularly not Poppy, they are much too twee.
