No. Apart from anything, it's very hard to say out loud.

Do you mean Blakely? Blake is much better and less of an mouthful

00100001 Sun 24-Nov-19 17:38:17

No. Looks like a typo if Blakeley.

nitgel Sun 24-Nov-19 17:38:49

On the busesgrin

Thoughtlessinengland Sun 24-Nov-19 17:38:51

There was a thread recently on Blakeley that rightly saw the OP dissuaded. Blakesley is even worse.

Northernlurker Sun 24-Nov-19 17:39:17

Under no circumstances, do you have a temperature?

LolaSmiles Sun 24-Nov-19 17:39:25

Absolutely not. It sounds silly.

Aquamarine1029 Sun 24-Nov-19 17:39:33

Yeah, it's really bad.

Practicalmagico Sun 24-Nov-19 17:40:19

Oh my god that is horrific. I’m sorry but I’m laughing

Antigonads Sun 24-Nov-19 17:40:38

Can you get a few more letters in?

Biscuitsneeded Sun 24-Nov-19 17:41:02

Awful. I hate surnames used as first names but even worse if it's unpronounceable. Why not just Blake (which is still horrible but at least people can say it)? Sorry to be so blunt OP but this is a person not place name.

Loneranger14 Sun 24-Nov-19 17:49:17

I really like it but DP doesn't better than bloody neveah

Christ. No.

SwampOfDeath Sun 24-Nov-19 17:52:00

My friend's son is Blake. Nice, solid and puts one in mind of the great William Blake.

CodenameVillanelle Sun 24-Nov-19 17:52:33

No no and thrice no. Nevaeh almost as bad.

CodenameVillanelle Sun 24-Nov-19 17:53:58

What do you like about it? Is it the difficult to pronounce random S in the middle? The fact that your child wouldn't be able to pronounce it let alone spell it until they are 12? That nobody will ever know how to spell it and they will he spelling over the phone for their entire lives?
You're naming a person, not a pet

Jj2431 Sun 24-Nov-19 17:54:32

Terrible and so is nevaeh

Spied Sun 24-Nov-19 17:56:23

Blake- ok.
Blakesley- Nevaeh!
