Plum’s sister!

Help please! We chose a very unusual name for our first daughter (Plum Elizabeth) and now we’re stuck on what to name her sister. Our current list feels a bit pedestrian in comparison, does it matter?

We like:

Alice
Flora
Gaia
Cecily
Beatrix
Sylvie
Merryn
Iris (actually, I’ve always loved Isis, but it’s obviously unusable now)

How about

Margaret
Edith
Ottilie
Delilah
Roxanne /Roxanna
Willa
Cora

But... my favourite girls name ever is Alice so I say you go for that. I think it goes really well with Plum as it shows you’re choosing names you really like rather than just “out there” names for the sake of it ❤️

I really have the sound of Cecily sorry. Just a very harsh S sound to it and sounds like Silly too

Anything but cecily, it's a horrid name. All harsh and hissy.

I don’t like the sound of Beatrix but I love the vibe of it. I picture a little girl with blond curly hair. Her mum dresses her in frilly dresses etc, but She’s a tomboy at heart who is always getting into mischief.
I also love Cecily. To me it has the same vibe as Beatrix.
I adore Iris. I don’t know why you say it’s unusual. Not that it is a risky name, but
No disrespect if you have used a plum you can’t be that concerned about risky names.

Other ideas
Clover.. Zofia. Albany. Saturn. Bracken. Sunny. Harbour. Tyra. Trudy. Tansy. Farrah.
Star. Nova. Alphina. Apollonia. Rainbow. Fallon. Suki.
