(264 Posts)Help please! We chose a very unusual name for our first daughter (Plum Elizabeth) and now we’re stuck on what to name her sister. Our current list feels a bit pedestrian in comparison, does it matter?
We like:
Alice
Flora
Gaia
Cecily
Beatrix
Sylvie
Merryn
Iris (actually, I’ve always loved Isis, but it’s obviously unusable now)
How about
Margaret
Edith
Ottilie
Delilah
Roxanne /Roxanna
Willa
Cora
But... my favourite girls name ever is Alice so I say you go for that. I think it goes really well with Plum as it shows you’re choosing names you really like rather than just “out there” names for the sake of it ❤️
I really have the sound of Cecily sorry. Just a very harsh S sound to it and sounds like Silly too
Victoria cox?
Hester
Juno
Rae
Lucy
Mimi
Peach?
Inca Rosalie
Flora is gorgeous.
I quite like Merryn.
Kitty
Juniper
Hebe
Tess
Verity
Alaia
Pipp/Pips
Clementine? Or it that a bit cliché?
Liesl
Astrid
Alvis
Dora
Nina
Maud
Kizzy
Anything but cecily, it's a horrid name. All harsh and hissy.
How about Quince?
Banana?
Verity is nice
Kitty
Alice
Rosie
Sorrel
Love the name Merryn
Pineapple...
And if you sell your house she can be at all the viewings..
Ooh I really like Sorrel actually! And Tess, good suggestions!
Each Peach Pear
Plum that cannot be real
My dog’s middle name is Elizabeth.
I love the name Tess and think it would sound lovely with Plum
Sorrel and Plum sound fab together. Pretty and unusual
Pudding?!
Kitty
Birdie
June
Xx
