Name for fourth boy!

DS4 due imminently.

We already have Rufus, Maxim (Max) and Ivo.

We’re a bit stumped this time! Names we like but don’t feel we can use include:

James — too many in the family/friend circle already
Jago — too close to Ivo?
Otto — ditto
Magnus — too close to Rufus and/or Maxim
Wilfrid (Wilf) — husband not too keen
Yann — bit too “continental”?
Henry — friend’s son
Dashiell — bit too “out there”?

We also quite like Samson... not 100% on it though.

Any more ideas or feedback please?

Felix has also been discussed but belongs to a family pet, unfortunately. It feels like so many good names are taken this time round

Oh I have 4 boys and would have definitely used Dashiell had I had a 5th, it’s a brilliant name - not too out there at all, very cool and suits all ages.

I agree that Magnus is too close to Rufus. I’d suggest Linus, but I think it has the same problem.

Possibilities that spring to mind:
Alec, Dominic, Hugh, Jasper, Jonathan (Jonty), Niall

Otto - very zeitgeisty and close to Ivo
Magnus - like it but agree too close to Rufus and/or Maxim
Wilfrid (Wilf) - yes quite nice
Yann - bit continental
Henry - nice. What about Henrik? Bit cooler and scandi?
Dashiell - horrible. Reminds me of Daryl which is awful. Ezikiel also awful.
Samson - yes I like it, although with Max are they two names that indicate "big"? Maybe it's just me.

I've got 3 boys, if I had another I like Griffin, Flynn, Timothy, Elias, Hugo or Gabriel. You would think after 3 boys I would have run out of boys names I like (there are more names I like I just can't remember them off the top of my head!) but I keep adding more to the list!
