Sister to Noah and Jacob

So I'm having a massive wobble over the name Matilda. My son's keep saying "Tilda" not Matilda! Its making me really doubt using the name as prefer names that can't be easily shortened.
The only other name I've loved is Harper.

I dont like names that are too "out there" or "uncommon". Would prefer not to have another biblical name (Noah and Jacob picked because I loved them, not because they biblical). And preferably something that can't be easily shortened.
I have thought of Pippa and Freya but again not sure.

Please help and throw me some names!

I know several matildas who's names are not shortened. I don't know how old your children are but young kids will often just say the first or last syllables of longer names. I'm sure they'll get used to it.

Having said that Matilda does lend itself to being Tilly or Tilda.

Freya is fine, quite common. Pippa is a nickname so might be weird for you to choose it if you don't like nicknames... not sure.

Harper isn't to my taste but it's a nice name and I think it goes nicely with your other children's names and less likely to be shortened. Having said that I know a Harper who's called Harps. If you love it though use it and correct people if they shorten it.

Matilda does usually get shortened to Tillie IME.

The Noahs and Jacobs I know have sisters called:
Holly
Sophie
Freya
Esme

Harper is Beckham. I would not use it. Matilda will be shortened by some but it doesn’t have to be. Pippa is already shortened from Philippa. I don’t like starting off with s shortened name. You might as well start with Tilda! Children often cannot say names anyway so don’t necessarily choose on the basis of what a child can say.

Martha, Meriel or Mariel, Maria, Mabel and Muriel are less likely to be shortened.

Matilda can easily be shortened by others to Maddy or Tilly though.
Charlotte is pretty but again you risk Charlie or Lottie, I think Mary or Maud are still nice names if a bit old fashioned?

Along with Phoebe and Matilda for girls.

I also love the suggestion of Esme above.

What about something like

Felicity
Grace

Noah and Jacob are lovely names, as is Matilda. Harper is dreadful and doesn't go with your sons' names. I would feel a bit short-changed if I was named Harper and could have been Matilda. I know a Matilda who usually goes by her full name but occasionally Mattie.

Thank you for all the suggestions.
Im drawn to Sophia but prefer Sofia spelling.
It would be nice if I don't use Matilda as first name to use as middle name. But don't think two names end in A really work.
Do also like Juliet but not sure if its a bit too uncommon?
