We've managed to narrow it down to these three but baby's due in a week and we still can't decide for the life of us.

- Sunshine
- Symphony
- Seawillow

I know they're not MN Approved names but hoping some people on here will have similar taste.

We already have a Honeybee and a Starling.

Not to my taste (at all grin) but I think Sunshine is by far the nicest on your list and goes best with your other DC’s names.

Blondie789 Sun 10-Jun-18 12:53:45

Poor kids

autumndreaming Sun 10-Jun-18 12:54:05

Sunshine. At least then they can have the nickname Sunny

fearfultrill Sun 10-Jun-18 12:54:47

Oh lord. Please don't. Poor kids.

Aprilshouldhavebeenmyname Sun 10-Jun-18 12:55:57

Ah but Sunny and Honey not so good!!

Theusual Sun 10-Jun-18 12:56:06

Sunshine at a push

Drchinnery Sun 10-Jun-18 12:57:52

Ffs

I am not keen on any at all. You have to remember these children have to go to school and get jobs at some point!

Abetes Sun 10-Jun-18 12:59:42

Yes, agree with PP. Not Sunny and Honey together.

autumndreaming Sun 10-Jun-18 13:01:04

Oh yes. Maybe avoid Sunny.

Can you seriously imagine what your kids will go through trying to get a job? Unfortunately discrimination does exist!

GoldenMcOldie Sun 10-Jun-18 13:02:25

How about Willow on it's own?

Glumglowworm Sun 10-Jun-18 13:02:59

Please tell me these aren’t human children?

Sunshine would normally be best but Sunny and Honey are ridiculous together

Symphony is the next least worst option

But seriously, they’re all awful. You’re naming people who are going to grow up into adults, not stay as babies or toddlers forever. unless you’re naming pets or dolls in which case do what you like

Seawillow gets my vote, couple of great shortenings there too.

Chocmallows Sun 10-Jun-18 13:04:21

Sunny (Sunshine) out of the three.

Do they have middle names or nn that they can choose when older if they prefer?

Many years ago I taught groups of children and many preferred a middle name. Sorry but it was because the parent wanted Demi, Thor, Rain or other unusual name and the child didn't.

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 10-Jun-18 13:05:07

SeaWillow is gorgeous.
Yes your names are made up and some would say a tad extremerly silly
However I suppose all names were made up at some point.

Jammycustard Sun 10-Jun-18 13:05:25

Well. What a choice. Seawillow.

WeEatTheYearAway Sun 10-Jun-18 13:05:39

I'd never thought of Sunny/Honey but Honeybee is usually called Bee anyway so would it still be a problem?

Daphnedolittle Sun 10-Jun-18 13:05:47

Assuming you're genuine, Sunshine because it shortens to Sunny which is nice. Or Seawillow because she could go by Willow if she wanted.

flumpybear Sun 10-Jun-18 13:06:22

I have a cat called Sunny and we call him Sunny sunshine so she could st least be called Sunny

Symphony - nick name phony? No!!

Sea willow - nick name see willy - no!!

All a bit hippy for my taste

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 10-Jun-18 13:06:34

Plus she can always go with Willow if she wants

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 10-Jun-18 13:09:23

Seawillow nn Willy.

I've never heard any bad connotations about the name William. Which also has the potential nn Willy.

WeEatTheYearAway Sun 10-Jun-18 13:10:34

I'm glad Seawillow is getting more votes as it's my favourite by a little

Interesting to see a couple of people are assuming baby is a she (we don't actually know yet)

Awwlookatmybabyspider Sun 10-Jun-18 13:13:56

With the greatest respect the names are very pretty and effeminate. That's why I assumed you knew you were having a girl im.sorry but i wouldn't give any of them to a boy. I don't think he'd thank you,to be perfectly honest

EmmaC78 Sun 10-Jun-18 13:19:55

Expecting a male to go through life being called seawillow is really unfair on a child.
