Just wondering as I thought this would be quite fun to do... what where all your names going to be before your parents picked the names they did, my name is Ella however they didn't come up with the name Ella until I was a day old! Before this I was going to be

I was meant to be Georgina NN George or Charlotte NN Charlie. Absolutely would have loved one of those names but my dad changed his mind when I was born. James if I was a boy and they used it for my brother a year later

I was going to be Alana after my dad.
They went with Clare instead. The elderly gentleman up the road thought my name was Gertrude. I answer to anything.

A boys name wasn't decided. Although my dad liked Carl.

I was going to be Harry if I was a boy (although I suspect my parents would have had a re-think as I was born the day after Prince Harry. Probably would have ended up Alastair.

My parents wanted to call me Sarah. Unfortunately for them, my cousin was born a few weeks before me & was given the name Sarah. My parents decided there couldn't be two Sarahs with the same surname in the family so they chose another name. I don't think they actually liked their second choice much as they've always called me by my middle name. Thank goodness, as I don't like it either.
