Help with DD name

Hi all
NC for this as have friends on here and they don’t know what we are having Smile
So Dd is about to make an appearance and we are struggling.
Middle names will be Rae after my husbands Grandma and either Ivy or Violet in memory of her sister who we lost last year at 17w (and who also had a flower name in there)
Mara is my current front runner. It’s weirdly a mixture of both of my grandmother’s names and has a Hebrew meaning which I like as DH is Jewish. I know that it means bitter but it almost seems fitting given the journey we have been on to welcome her here. I suppose I’m just not sure. What do you think? Too out there?

Always loved the name Aoife as I have Irish parents and it sounds lovely with our surname. It was our first choice when DS was born but we sort of went off it this time. It’s worming it’s way back in now...

And Margot. A recent suggestion from DH which I also like.

None of them I love love though Mara my fave.
Any other suggestions or clear preferences?? It’s so hard naming a baby! Grin

Mara is really nice. When I hear it I think of Mara Wilson the actress who was adorable and in almost every kid movie when I was growing up Smile

Ha do you know it never occurred to me to have it Mara Violet Rae!
We kept saying Mara Rae Violet - I like the way it flows better with Rae at the end.

Moya is an Irish girl’s name that I like which coincidentally also means bitter.

I don’t think maya is too out there though.

Hmmm. I like Margot Ivy Rae. But Aoife Rae Violet is also lovely. And I think Mara is also very pretty.

I prefer Margot. Don’t like the meaning of Mar.

Mara could be a nn.

DH isn’t massively keen on Rae being the end name but I love the combo so much that’s what’s happening Grin
