Baby names

Baby sister for Elodie ... ideas please!

I am 35 weeks pregnant with a girl, we have a 2 year old daughter called Elodie. Really struggling to agree on a name this time round...
I like Isobel, Sophia and Isla but these are all really popular now 😩. Hubby thinks they are a all a bit 'faddy'. He likes Margot, Ada and Audrey - not keen on any of these as feel they are too harsh sounding/ not feminine enough.

Only names we both agree on and like are Anna and Katherine. Not sure if these go with Elodie though....
Thoughts and ideas much appreciated please ! ? Thanks x

I don't really get trying to find a name that 'goes' with a sibling's name. Neither you, them or anyone else will care when they're older.

Anna and Katherine are both fab names so why not use those? Kate is not very popular yet is instantly recognisable so that might work too.

Also I would say that your husband's choices are the faddy ones - Margot is nice but definitely a fad imo!

Thanks everyone. I really like Rosa and Juliet but DH not keen at all. A close friend has just named her daughter Clara - like it too.
I really like Kate and think it's not commonly used now so Anna or Katherine are our top 2 at the moment. Hoping when she's born the decision will be easy to make!x

I love Anna, I have one!

Would you consider Audra? Nicer in my view than Audrey, could be a compromise with your husband?!

Elodie and Anna sound gorgeous together.
More suggestions for you though.
Marcie. Sophia. Mabel. Willow.

Anna is a classic. I would probably go for it if you both like it. Katherine is nice too, although I knew loads growing up so it doesn't feel as "special". It's unusual for babies these days, though.

Other suggestions:

Annabel
Phoebe
Lucy
Serena
Iona
Esme
Ailsa
Lilah
Marina

Sybil.

Elodie and Sybil. Star

Also like Anna as it's a lovely, classic name, but pairing it with Elodie just reminds me of Frozen...
(I know, I know - let it go, right?)
