Our baby is due in a few weeks and I’m struggling with boys’ names. Lots of ideas for girls. Our surname is one syllable and problematic with some names (as it sounds like ‘pain’). So some of my favourites are out: William (willy pain), Cameron (campaign), Maximilian (max pain). I think one-syllable first names sound a bit too harsh with our surname.
DD is Susanna. I like the nickname options and the fact it’s classic but not too commonplace. Also I think the 3 syllables balance well with a short surname. Please can I have some boys’ names inspiration?

Frederick - is it really popular at the moment? Same with Theodore? Fabian - sounds French, would it work ok in the UK? Conrad - really like this, but would he get called Connie? Raymond - don’t know if I’m brave enough but love the idea of a little Ray.
