Thoughts on:

Nina
Phoebe
Zoë
Chloë

Sister for Lucas
We’ve got a long double barrelled surname.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Is Phoebe too closely associated with Phoebe from Friends do you think? Does that matter?

Love Phoebe, the others are too common.

Friends was so long ago now, I’d never connect the name with it. No-one of your kids generation will watch it.

I also like Lucas and Phoebe together.

I don't think the friends link is too strong now (although I was never a super fan so maybe others will think differently).

The Phoebe I tend to think of is Holden's sister in The Catcher in the Rye. I remember having a lot of sympathy with her when I read it as she is very sensible whereas her brother is an idiot.

Phoebe would be my top pick but the others are nice too.

How fussed are you / would you be about the accents over the e on Zoe and Chloe ?
I think they would be left off, a LOT (f you are in England).
would that bother you ?

I like all 4 names, although prefer Nina and Zoe as they are less popular at the moment.
I wouldn't bother with the diaeresis (I think that's what it's called?) in Zoe and Chloe though as they will get, as PP mentioned, constantly left off and will be a PITA in the UK for most people to find on the keyboard. I know how to get it on my phone, but no idea on a laptop or PC. Obviously if you are oitside the UK and accents are common, ignore me! DD2's name should have an accented letter but we chose to omit it for these reasons. I don't think we've lost anything by doing so apart from maybe a touch of the 'Hyacinth Buckets' Grin

Nina, by a mile.

Then Zoe, I think, or Phoebe.

Not keen on Chloe.

Other names similar, perhaps:

Anya
Hebe
Thea

Nina is my favourite. Then Zoe. Phoebe is okay. Really dislike Chloe, it's sort of sickly to me. Cloying, I suppose.
