Iris is my favourite. The others are more popular but I don’t know any children called Iris.
Lyra and Lila are really nice if you like names ending in a.

Isla is by far the prettiest out of an awful bunch. Iris in particular is dreadful, yet. Everyone raves over it. It's part of an eye ball isn't it.

Iris is the best - it's a lovely striking flower. I would never think of eyeballs. It's a name for all ages and will go from child to adult.
Isla is just meh nowadays, but it might have been nice once.
Lola - is short for Dolores, isn't a name in itself. Call her Dolores and use Lola as a nickname.
Lula - sounds silly as a name in its own right. Very childlike. Maybe as a nickname for Louise/Eloise, etc, it'd be fine.

I think Island is beautiful, but it is very popular, so it depends on whether that bothers you or not. After that, my order of preference would be:

Iris (love this too!)
Lola (nice)
Lula (not keen personally)

Lovely names! I love Iris but people seem to have mixed feelings about this one. Isla is beautiful but very popular so depends if this bothers you. Lola is nice but my least favourite of the four. Lula is sweet and unusual. Lulu would be a cute nickname!

Iris - nice but I think of it as an old lady's name.
Isla - very popular
Lola - no. I like it but it's disliked on MN.
Lula - no. Sound's like a nn.

Iris is my favourite. A pretty flower, the goddess of rainbows, and yes also the coloured part of your eye, although that doesn't put me off, considering it's not the actual meaning of the name.

Lola is my second favourite. Not so keen on Lula, unless short for Tallulah.

I uses to love Isla but it's so hugely popular now that it has lost a lot of its appeal and I find it a bit safe and boring.

Isla - yes, very popular, but as that doesn't bother you it's the best of the bunch
Lola - awful. Small Jack Russell/ transvestite/ fussy spoilt child, to me.
Lula - also meh. Reminds me a bit of Lularoe and their hideous leggings!

Iris is okay. A bit dull.
Lola is nice but is eveywhere. She will be one of many in her class.
Lula doesn’t sound like a full name. Makes me think of ‘Lu Lu’ which people use to mean vagina.

Isla is lovely but very popular I know 4 from age 7 to 1.

Lola makese think of Charlie and Lola and I hate that show.

Lula prefer Luna, never met a Lula so if you want a more unusual name choose Lula.

Iris don't love or hate it. I think of a flower and not eye when I hear this name.
