Any thoughts on the name Juno? I like the fact she was a goddess and I think it goes well with my other daughter's name (Maia).
I've also considered Juliet - maybe I like the J sound?!
I'm just worried Juno is a bit 'out there'....but at the same time, I do like it for reasons stated above!

I love Juno & it's perfect with Maia.

Both Juno and Juliet were on my short list so I think you have good taste. Don’t worry about being out there, names become very normal very quickly so just go with what you like.

I love the name Juno! And as someone said.. Names become normalised quicker than you think so go with it smile

Juliet is one of my favourite names, so I'd pick that, but I think Juno is fine if that's what you prefer.

Sophronia Mon 12-Mar-18 21:00:12

I like it, Juliet is lovely too

Elmosmum Mon 12-Mar-18 21:08:35

Aww Juno is on my list too but same as you I was a bit worried it's a bit out there...

Blondemother Mon 12-Mar-18 21:09:41

I love Juno. It was a serious contender for dd !

pipilangstrumpf Mon 12-Mar-18 21:11:19

Love Juliet!

Zaya71 Mon 12-Mar-18 21:53:27

I love Juno, but my sister named her cat it a few weeks before my DD was born so it got crossed off the list!

SpringMayHaveSprung Mon 12-Mar-18 21:57:02

I don't think it's that far out there nowadays.

I like it very much.

MelvinThePenguin Mon 12-Mar-18 21:57:24

I do think of pregnant teenagers and my toddler DD saying ‘d’you know what?’

I like it though. I wouldn’t flinch at someone calling their DD that.

Japanesejazz Mon 12-Mar-18 22:02:23

I like it too. So much, that it’s my dogs name

whosafraidofabigduckfart Mon 12-Mar-18 22:05:30

I wanted to call dd Juno but she was born around the time of the film and I got lots of cats bum faces when I mentioned it. I love the name

I went for Freya (Norse goddess love and fertility instead) and Maya was on my shortlist too..

Sugarpiehoneyeye Mon 12-Mar-18 22:11:01

I think Juno goes well with Maia.

I used to think Maia Juno sounded like may June (I was thinking of both as first /second name

Naberes Tue 13-Mar-18 22:15:50

I know a LOT of canine Junos, just FYI. Cool name, though.

DiegoMadonna Wed 14-Mar-18 00:42:58

I like it and I think it goes PERFECTLY with Maia.

SuperBeagle Wed 14-Mar-18 02:45:48

I love Juliet, but I think Juno and Maia "go" better together.

Snipples Wed 14-Mar-18 03:17:26

Juno is lovely.

jigsawpiece Wed 14-Mar-18 04:59:22

I'm not sure about it. It's the name of a space probe that's arrived at Jupiter recently and it sounds like a boy's name to me (because it ends in o as Italian male names usually do) June, however is clearly a girl's name.
