Hugo conjure in your mind.

I'm pregnant with second baby. I don't know the sex and haven't even thought about a girl's name.

I like Hugo but wanted some thoughts!

It's a nice name. My friend has one. Think some people think it's posh or something!

pipilangstrumpf · 24/02/2018 22:45

Posh, apparently

AnyaMoondial · 24/02/2018 22:48

It's a fun name, I like it.

lizabes · 24/02/2018 22:48

I don't get the posh association.
I think it's cute but doesn't sound childish as an adult .
Makes me think of curls for some reason.

GummyGoddess · 24/02/2018 22:50

The red headed baby in my DC's baby classes with the super cheerful mum! He's the only one I've met so that's what comes to mind.

Meandmy4 · 24/02/2018 23:01

Cutie with chubby rosy cheeks floppy curly/wavy dark hair big brown eyes and very happy smiley little chap.
As pp said hugo is also a adult name
Posh ... Confused does my nut in when people say " posh names/hipster names/council estate name ect... its a childs name fgs !..
Personally you may associate it with what you will but why do some people always feel need to add which "class" level the name reminds them of ?... Confused ...

Thats is all !😜

(Hand on heart scouts honour above rant is NOT aimed at any MNetter or pp)

Love the name Hugo. If dc1 wasn't theo we would probably go for it, but they don't sound good together!

chezmk1988 · 25/02/2018 22:52

Honestly? Sounds pretentious to me

DoloresLandingham · 25/02/2018 23:00

We’re seriously considering it for forthcoming DS. I’m hesitating because it’s had a recent spike in popularity and I wonder if it is going to be the next Noah. It’s hugely popular in large parts of continental Europe.

RavenWings · 25/02/2018 23:19

Middle class with aspirations. I think it's ok - it's a nice enough name but nothing special.
