missmapp Sat 17-Feb-18 17:23:39

MrsJayy Sat 17-Feb-18 17:23:44

Off the top of my head 7 that I went to school with thinking about it 5 more my name was very late 60s early 70s

Cosmoa Sat 17-Feb-18 17:23:59

I met lots of people with my whole name... So my first AND last name! Which is why I'm choosing something much more unique for my daughter...

blueskyinmarch Sat 17-Feb-18 17:24:09

Loads. I have a name that was very popular in the 60's.

lanbro Sat 17-Feb-18 17:24:32

Have only met 2 in my whole life, not an unusual name but obviously uncommon. Never met anyone with either of my dd's names

Thistlebelle Sat 17-Feb-18 17:25:08

Currently no one. I have very occasionally met someone with my name in passing but it’s rare.

Tisfortired Sat 17-Feb-18 17:25:38

None, and my name isn't unusual really.

ThomasHardyPerennial Sat 17-Feb-18 17:25:43

I've only ever met 2, despite people always saying it it overused and popular.

BigPizzaPie Sat 17-Feb-18 17:26:10

I've only met one other in my entire life, although its a fairly common name in my parents country of origin.

HotCrossBunFight Sat 17-Feb-18 17:26:16

Loads and loads. It was one of the most common names in the 80s

OhPuddleducks Sat 17-Feb-18 17:26:46

One at school (in a different year) and a family friend (for whom I was named). And that’s it! It’s a bugger to spell though.

Fekko Sat 17-Feb-18 17:26:48

Neighbour of my boss. Famous woman but I’ve never met her. Only her.

MealyPotatoes Sat 17-Feb-18 17:27:31

I used to know two at school but lost touch 20 years ago. I met one last week and we exclaimed that their aren’t many of us. There is one on TV who reads the local news.

Countingsheeeep Sat 17-Feb-18 17:27:41

There were a few of us in my year at school, and I have met many since school. I have a very common name for my generation though.

MissWilmottsGhost Sat 17-Feb-18 17:28:39

None. My best friend at school had the same name, same spelling, and we were born at opposite ends of the country, so we both assumed it was a really common and boring name. I lost touch with her years ago and have never met another confused

Dizzybacon Sat 17-Feb-18 17:28:51

One person at work and she spells hers with a K, which for the name in my opinion is very Jeremy Kyle.

Now everyone in the office thinks mine starts with K too! Saying that, I do forgive them as they are all a bunch of chavs!

slashdragon Sat 17-Feb-18 17:29:17

None but I have a shit name 😩

Sarahh2014 Sat 17-Feb-18 17:29:22

Too many! As per username

fortifiedwithtea Sat 17-Feb-18 17:29:35

OMG Mine is so common. Part it this way including myself there are 3 women with the same name in our road. There are only 8 houses in our road grin

CPtart Sat 17-Feb-18 17:29:44

In real life, none. It's a very 70's name, not particularly uncommon either.

Bluntness100 Sat 17-Feb-18 17:29:48

One. It's weird, my name was apparently very common when I was born and dates me. As in common with women in their forties. Although a baby name thread on here seemed to think it was liked. But even though it was supposed to be popular at the time, I went to school with no one else called it and have never met anyone other than one person named it.
