Looking for suggestions of girls’ names as above please!
I have some tenuous connection to Denmark and Germany and like the names but would need something that works in the UK too.

But DH is not keen

I would warn you now anything spelt with -e on the end is sounded -a and will lead to a lifetime of telling people how to pronounce/spell your name or just giving up and accepting your entire workplace says/spells your name wrong.

Also no-one English can pronounce Tove.

I’m used to pronouncing e at the end of things as I speak German but you’re right, most English people wouldn’t...

It’s hard to know what is considered old-fashioned in another country but I like Laerke, Signe, Solveig.
