Name you weren’t brave enough to use

Just a post for fun

I’m wondering if anyone had any names they would have loved to have called their DC but either didn’t use it because it was too out there or they changed their mind last minute

Mine would be Rocket - part of me is desperate to still use it with next DC

Fiona. It was going to be my first DDs name but every film or TV programme I watched on maternity leave had a Fiona who a bitch, prostitue or criminal. My DD1 has a very boring name and said that alpha mean girl in her class at school was a ..... Fiona!

Scarlett , when I realised that actually it was the name I would have liked to have.

Roman (just because of our surname, it's not a particularly brave name for most)
Kwame. One of my favorite boy's names ever but a white British- Polish family really could not get away with it. Shame. I really do love it.

DH tried to talk me into Ramirez for ds2 and Xenon for ds3.

When I was pregnant with my youngest (DD) if she was a boy I wanted to call him kale. It was a name I heard in a few movies but then DP pointed out everyone would make fun of him because of the vegetable 😂

Cleo.

I love it as I think it's a really strong girls name but DH prefers prettier more 'frilly' (IMO) girls names. Luckily we had a boy. Grin

If ds2 had been a girl we both wanted Rainbow. Not sure whether we would have gone through with it. DS2 turns pale every time we mention it

I wanted Ryder for a boy, I still quite like it. DH said he would agree to it if we were American but as we are not he vetoed it Hmm
