I really like it. We considered it for this dc but have gone with something else instead. It's nice though. Means 'dove'.

LadyWithLapdog · 15/12/2017 11:45

I like it. It's sweet.

justinelibertine · 15/12/2017 11:45

Palmolive...

RestingGrinchFace · 15/12/2017 11:45

Ay ay ay ay Aaaaaayyy Paalooooma! [In a Russian Man's voice]

That is literally the first thing that comes into my head when I hear/read that name. No idea why. I think that it may be a song.

PenelopeFlintstone · 15/12/2017 11:51

I love it.

caffelatte100 · 15/12/2017 12:07

Gorgeous! Go for it!

CaptainChristmas · 15/12/2017 12:53

I love it. Spanish for dove is my first thought and then Paloma Faith!

ChocolateCrunch · 15/12/2017 13:47

I like it. Don't know any, apart from Paloma Faith.

MegAndSprog · 15/12/2017 13:47

Beautiful, peaceful name. It’s also the name of Picasso’s daughter, also an artist. Gorgeous, go for it!

manicinsomniac · 15/12/2017 14:09

I like it.

Unusual though. I only know one whereas I know about 30-35 Olivers. So I don't think it's the best 'match' with your son's name. But that only really matters for the first few years of their lives, if at all.

So yes, I think go for it.

LeahG94 · 15/12/2017 14:48

I like it, but will forever think of Paloma Faith when I hear it. If you can live with that then go ahead, it's a beautiful name.

DramaAlpaca · 15/12/2017 14:52

The song that goes Una paloma blanca, I'm just a bird in the sky... is what it makes me think of.

It's not my style, but there's nothing wrong with it.

tinygirlsmum · 15/12/2017 14:54

I love it. Was my second choice name for my little girl and if I have another I'll be using it!

17caterpillars1mouse · 15/12/2017 14:55

Beautiful name i really like it

AdaColeman · 15/12/2017 15:03

It's absolutely beautiful, a lovely name.

Paloma Picasso is who I think of first when I hear it, and then Picasso's drawings of doves, and doves a symbol of peace.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 15/12/2017 17:06

❤️ Paloma, nick name Loma.

ruralmother · 15/12/2017 17:15

very pretty :)

mywayalltheway · 15/12/2017 17:21

I like it.

harrietm87 · 15/12/2017 17:30

It also means pigeon, which would put me off (mainly cos I really hate pigeons)

Worrywort85 · 15/12/2017 19:36

Wow thanks for the feedback everyone!!
I know it doesn't really match Oliver but I've been struggling big time to find any name I like

Siblings names don't have to match. I've never really understood why people do that tbh.

nancyclancy123 · 15/12/2017 20:28

Paloma was my dh first choice of name for our dd.
I wasn’t so sure but now 7 years later, I think the name would’ve suited her. We have an Oliver too!!

love it!

MancUnicorn · 15/12/2017 22:56

I'd totally forgotten about this name but it's so lovely! The whole matching with your sibling - dw about it. My brother has probably the most common name across multiple countries whereas I have a more uncommon name, same with my mum and uncle. I think Oliver and Paloma go great together actually!

NinonDeLenclos · 16/12/2017 16:51

Great name.

I understand why people want names to go together - my kids names do so do my sister & my names. But what does that actually mean?

Oliver and Paloma sound good together - I like the aliteration.
