I like it, my husand likes it, but a few folks have turned their noses up. She's our last baby, we already have an Ophelia. What do you think? Here's a pic...Thanks

It should be spelled Eloisa; it's a lovely name (though if you already have an Ophelia, why not go the full hog and have Heloise? very lovely and equally literary to match Ophelia)

Very pretty, although quite similar in sound to her older sister.

Gorgeous baby but I don't like Elouisa. It looks like Eloise spelt incorrectly. Louisa is a pretty name though.

Beautiful baby. I think it's too much of a mouthful especially with Ophelia, I would go for either Eloise or Louisa (a really lovely name).

Yes, it's a bit much: Heloise (or Eloise) is lovely, as is Louisa or Louisa. Elouisa sounds a bit like you can't decide between a couple of names so have put them all together.

Congratulations!

It sort of looks like you couldn't decide between Louisa and Eloise so you mashed them together?

How about Elodie?

Awwww what a beautiful little girl! Congratulations! It is a wonderful name. I do prefer the Eloisa spelling though.

I think she looks like a Louisa. Drop the E.

I’d spell it Eloisa. Congrats OP!

Louisa or Eloise.
Elouisa looks odd and made up. Sorry.

She's lovely! Congrats!

Hate Elouisa (sorry). It sounds too try-hard. Just call her Louisa.

Ophelia and Eloise, sounds classy.
Somehow Ophelia and Elouisa sounds wrong.

She’s beautiful and looks like a little Beatrice to me!

I like it. I also prefer the spelling of Eloisa, but I think the name will be great alongside Ophelia Smile

Eloisa is a really pretty name! And her nickname could be Lo, which is cool 😎

Beautiful baby! Congratulations!

I'd go for a completely different name. Eloise and Ophelia sound far too similar, even Louisa.

Any other ideas?

I have 2 brothers with similar sounding names and they hate it!

Yes it would be Eloisa if anything. My daughter is Eloise i can't believe how many people get her spelling wrong and put a U in it. Never thought that would happen. It's a completely different name to Louise. So glad people have answered on here with the right way to spell it

Not a fan of elouisa; it looks a bit made up. Eloise is lovely though, and Heloise is even more gorgeous, one of my favourites and absolutely matches Ophelia.
