Strong, robust boys names

Any suggestions? We like old-fashioned names as well as modern ones. Germanic/Scandinavian names often feel very strong.

Things like

Erik
Frank
Jack
Olaf
Ivor

Etc. Any ideas? I don't love all of the above but they're in the style I'm after.

I’ve got a Tomas. Named after an eastern European footballer. Tomas/Tomasz/Thomas is a good multinational name, will travel anywhere, but I also chose it because I’ve always loved it and thought it was a proper robust no-nonsense boy’s name that he won’t have any trouble over at school and be embarrassed about as a grown up in the world of work!

Thanks everyone, seems like we got the scandinavian angle covered! Any similar style English names?
