This is for a second DD I don't yet have! Just met a Daphne recently and have been slightly obsessing over its loveliness. But don't know what connotations it has for others.

I love it! Know a 7 year old with sister Viola, just gorgeous.

Love it but am thinking scooby doo.

But you know, she’ll own her name, it’s a beautiful name & it’ll become ‘her’ name.

Oh I love Viola. Are the parents Chalet School fans, by any chance?

I really like it! It’s definitely underused at the moment.

Sweet and quaint. Also, the fab Daphne du Maurier.

Absolutely love the name Daphne! It does make me think of Frasier, but I wouldn't have said that was a bad thing?

It’s lovely. I wonder if she’d end up being ‘Daffy’, but that would be ok by me personally.

I'm in the minority as I think it's dreadfully frumpy.

Rainatnight I hadn’t thought of that, but I bet they are!

I love it.

I used to work with a lovely Daphne and then there's Daphne from Scooby doo and Daphne from Neighbours. It's all good.

I think its beautiful, very classical, reminds me of laurels

Love it. Would have used it but DH's GM is called Daphne and didn't want people to think that was why.

KoalaD · 24/10/2017 14:24

I don't, but I love Dahlia.

Love it. Underused!

Love it! If I'd had another DD she'd have been a Daphne but had to settle for naming the cat it!

Report
SemperTemper · 24/10/2017 14:28

I absolutely love it but DH said no way. Apparently it's a name reserved for 80 year-olds Hmm

I especially love the way it looks written down.
