Ebrel

Thought I'd just throw it out there as a suggestion! I've seen that April is popular on a lot of threads (its Cornish meaning is April) and I've seen that Jago, Demelza and Jory get a fair bit of positive feedback too.

I met a lovely little squishy one in A&E today and I have fallen in love! It's also pretty uncommon with only 7 girls being called it in between 1916 - 2005....

So please someone have an Ebrel for me?

No. It's like Ariel washing powder.

I assumed it was a boys name... However, I do quite like it!

I haven't heard of it before.

I don't know whether it would grow on me at all, but my initial reaction is not keen.

I assumed biblical male name but it is nice!

I think it's rather nice but a) you'd get a lot of people asking what country it was from because it does sound foreign (unsurprisingly, being from a different language) b) once you've explained that no it's not Croatian, it's Cornish your interlocutor would follow up with "Oh, I never knew you were from Cornwall" which is a bit awkward if you're not.

So, pretty, but probably only if you have actual Cornish blood.

At first mistook it for Enbrel, the arthritis drug.

E Brel is how I would want to say it.
