Uncommon but not unusual girls names?

DS has an uncommon boys name, it's a name that you'll have heard but you probably won't know very many if any.

Now we need a girls name. We previously loved Imogen but it seems to be everywhere now.

We quite like short names.

Not sure what your style is, but those are all short and sensible names which are now pretty unusual for babies.

They're all a bit, I dunno, receptionist in her 50's type of names.

I like Effie, Etta, Beatrix, Juliet, if that helps?

Use Etta!! I wish I had, but DH just wouldn't budge Sad DD now has a very similar name that does suit her, but it's not what I would have chosen if it was solely up to me.

Are some lovely short names that are complete as well, wouldn't use Etta myself unless it was short for somthing, I always think it's better to give them a name that gives them options.
