It was meant to be Everly & Spencer...

Due twin girls the start of October.

We had decided on Everly Genevieve & Spencer Ottilie. My DH loved Spencer but has went off it recently & we are gonna choose another name.

He won't let me have Ottilie 😞.

We like -
Verity (DH choice)
Mila or Veda.

Help us 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would presume Spencer was a boy, sorry.

If you're still going with Everly, I'd avoid another y/ie ending if I were you so their names aren't too matchy-matchy.

I agree to me spencer is a boys name.

I like Verity but not together with Everly

Amee1992x Sat 19-Aug-17 17:35:03

😂😂😂😂, don't think we need the ohhh it's a boys name conversation as last time. It's boring, we've decided to change it. Moving forward...

I like Veda and Ottilie. Everly is nice too but has a different feel to it. I have to say I really don't like Spencer for a girl. Everly and Veda would get my vote for twins if you can't have Ottilie.

Sorry for being so boring hmm

GeillisTheWitch Sat 19-Aug-17 17:39:42

Everly and Mila is OK. Everly and Verity is a bit of a mouthful, although Verity is still much much better than Spencer.

Veda! Unusual!! But lovely

HarrietVane99 Sat 19-Aug-17 17:43:08

I wonder if Everly will have a lifetime of people thinking she said 'Beverly' whenever she introduces herself.

I like Verity. I don't like 'O' names generally, so Ottilie would be a no for me.

MadameJosephine Sat 19-Aug-17 17:44:30

Love Genevieve and Verity

SpornStar Sat 19-Aug-17 17:50:30

I can't vote for Veda. Where I come from, it's a type of bread. It's lovely but it's a loaf, not a girl's name.

Amee1992x Sat 19-Aug-17 17:55:58

Unfortunately Genevieve and Ottilie aren't an option, that's why they are middle names. I'm leaning towards Mila. Everly is a definate.

Eminybob Sat 19-Aug-17 17:57:52

I know someone with 2 little girls (not twins though) called Everley and Addison.
I think the 2 names have a similar vibe and go very nicely together.

MrsTerryPratchett Sat 19-Aug-17 18:01:32

What about Ottoline? Avoids the ie/y ending and has lovely books!

Amee1992x Sat 19-Aug-17 18:03:35

Have nieces named Addison & Eden.

Ottilie is a family name that's why we are using it as a middle name after a great grandmother.

Everly and Veda, as they are both unusual. Not sure about Everly and Verity. And Mila seems to getting very popular.

LilaBard Sat 19-Aug-17 18:15:52

Yes also came here to say Veda is a lovely loaf toasted with some banana on top

Jooni Sat 19-Aug-17 18:17:58

I like Everly and Veda. Good luck!

TillyTheTiger Sat 19-Aug-17 18:21:33

Everly and Mila. Veda makes me think Darth Vader

Jedbartletforpresident Sat 19-Aug-17 18:32:33

Please, please don't use Veda - it's like calling your child Hovis! I LOVE Veda.... toasted with tons of butter on top - NOT as a girls name!

I really like Everly. (Although would spell it Everley - it looks like something is missing to me without that second 'e')

How about Violet if you want a V name? Or Vera?

Chocolatecake12 Sat 19-Aug-17 18:40:37

Everly and....

From your choices i prefer verity and don't mind the 'y' ending for both girls.

ZoSanDesu Sat 19-Aug-17 19:05:45

Veda! Just googled the meaning - "knowledge" - and have added it to our list for DC3!

PrettyLittleBrownEyedMe Sat 19-Aug-17 19:15:03

Are you really sure about Everly? Surely everyone's instantaneous automatic thought will be '...Brothers' - I've never heard it in any other context. Sounds quite masculine too....

Verity and Mila is the way to go IMHO.

user1459464195 Sat 19-Aug-17 19:18:31

Everley and....

Avery (arguably too similar?)

Amee1992x Sat 19-Aug-17 19:23:24

Dead set on Everly.

Avery is lovely but it's our dogs name 😊
