She goes by Zoey - I thought it was pretty cool! Thoughts?

Blimey.
Is this here in the UK?

Well, less of an issue if growing up in, say, an alternative/ creative/ free-spirited community, surrounded by similarly unconventionally-named kids.

But if she's the glaring exception in a sea of traditional, 'safe' girls' names, then that's a tough gig.

Ditto in adult years:
The well-known artist Zodiac Jones...or, Grammy Award-winner Zodiac Jones: perfect.
Our senior tax accountant, Ms. Zodiac Jones: less so.
Maybe I'm lacking vision?

The first thing I thought of was the Zodiac serial killer.

I am a true crime nerd though.

Actually, and I don't like wacky names as a rule but I can't help rather loving it. Zodiac, it's great Smile

Thought of Zodiac Killer here too. Prefer just Zoë.

My daughter said she met someone called Skirt at softplay, I thought she might have misheard but my DP confirmed that this child was called Skirt.

Can't even think what it might be short for, can anyone enlighten me?
