What do folks think?

We're struggling so much with a boy's name.....

Any suggestions that are fairly short and unusual/ unusual ish.

DS is Kit
DD is Wren

Is baby is she her name will be Inez Joy.
If baby is boy currently nameless.

Please help!

My worry would be whether people stumble over how to pronounce it. Veego / Vygo.

Could be annoying for him in the long run.

(I really like it though and congrats!)

Scourge of Carpathia, sorrow of Moldavia?

Hmmm.

Love it.
DD has a boy in her class called Viggo (I think the Vigo spelling is more commonly a surname?)

Sophronia Sat 24-Jun-17 00:24:48

I prefer Viggo

I would think he was named after the Kent village. What about Inigo?

Jooni Sat 24-Jun-17 04:53:50

I've always seen it as Viggo. I quite like it.

Ivo or Ives
Jago
Miles
Hal
Asa
Joss
Leif or Liev

I thought about ghostbusters as well

VintagePerfumista Sat 24-Jun-17 07:35:53

I think about the town in Spain.

It goes with your other names, that's for sure.

I think most people would presume it was Viggo though, and you might get some Aragorn quips.

RiotAndAlarum Sat 24-Jun-17 07:36:08

My children have just seen Ghostbusters, so that was on my mind, too! Sorry....

Bobbins43 Sat 24-Jun-17 07:41:51

Ivor is LOVELY

Bobbins43 Sat 24-Jun-17 07:42:14

Damn it, Ivo. Stupid autocorrect.

blahthisistoohard Sat 24-Jun-17 08:33:20

Sounds like a nightclub

Joeybee Sat 24-Jun-17 08:39:07

I like it, although would spell it Viggo.
I'm surprised it isn't more popular because there are quite a few short, snappy boys names popular right now - like Leo, Hugo, Arlo etc.
I think it's ace.

chumpchange Sat 24-Jun-17 08:44:36

We nearly chose Viggo. I quite like it, no reason why not to.

Ginlinessisnexttogodliness Sat 24-Jun-17 09:24:23

Thanks everyone.
I meant to spell it Viggo it corrected it 🙄

Still unsure. I don't mind the Aragon quips (swoon)

I love Ivo that's a great name.
And Bay.

I adore Hal and Heath but sadly surname rules those one out.

Any other ideas would be really appreciated

Melstarrynight Sat 24-Jun-17 10:33:28

There's a boy in my sons school called Vito. How about that?

RiverTam Sat 24-Jun-17 10:35:19

Viggo Mortenson! Aragorn!!! What's not to like!

I like it, though not as much as Inez Joy which is beautiful!

SuperBeagle Sat 24-Jun-17 10:44:11

I also think of Viggo Mortensen.

But I don't like the name.
