I think Dugald, Douglas or Dougray sound better for an older teen/man.

I like it. Short for Douglas. Not just Doug.

Doug is quite strong for a little one. How about Dougie to soften it?

Report
Sophronia · 23/06/2017 22:20

I only like it short for Douglas

I know a Douggie. He's grown up now and goes by Doug apart from with family, but it's always been a good name.

If dd was a boy I would have gone with Douglas nn Dougie. I quite like Winston too.

Love it. It was one of our boys names. We probably would have gone Douglas with no Doug or Douggie.

I like it. I think it's adorable for a baby and will age well. Go for it.

Doug is horrid.

I like Douglas and I like Doug, but I was put off it for my DS's because I really really don't like Duggie or Dougie as nicknames for Douglas / Doug.
