Billy or Teddy?

(William or Theodore on BC)

He's here.

Both Excellent Dude!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Both nice names, not keen on Teddy, but he'll grow into out of it as long as you've left him the option by having a less cutesy name on certificate.

ILookedintheWater Mon 19-Jun-17 10:48:34

into or out of it (ie have the choice as he grows).

FidgetSpinner Mon 19-Jun-17 10:51:46

Teddy, but I like Billy too
Congratulations flowers

MammieBear Mon 19-Jun-17 10:51:58

Him sorry, silly phone.

Floggingmolly Mon 19-Jun-17 10:52:30

I prefer Theo as a shortened version of Theodore.

SuperBeagle Mon 19-Jun-17 10:54:56

Billy. 😍

SwimmingCostume Mon 19-Jun-17 10:57:09

@Floggingmolly - it will be Teddy. Teddy is the name we like, but we want a longer form and prefer it to Ed names.

@MammieBear - I'm not sure sad

MammieBear Mon 19-Jun-17 11:04:06

I think both are Lovely, Billy's more unusual if that helps but as I say you can't go wrong with either good choice. smilebear

Teddy, I wanted my ds to be called that but went for Dexter instead and slightly regret it

LittleGreenPear Mon 19-Jun-17 11:40:59

I have a Teddy and that's what he is on his BC too. It suits him (he's almost 11 now) and he goes by either Teddy or Ted.

You won't regret Teddy. Best boys name ever of course grin

Floggingmolly Mon 19-Jun-17 11:59:42

Teddy is fine.

Sophronia Mon 19-Jun-17 12:32:04

Definitely William/Billy!

Decaffstilltastesweird Mon 19-Jun-17 14:49:45

I think Theodore might date badly as it's suddenly everywhere! William is more classic imo.

Scrumpernickel Mon 19-Jun-17 14:50:48

Definitely Billy for me. Teddy is not to my taste at all.

flissfloss65 Mon 19-Jun-17 14:54:57

Teddy, when he's older he might choose Theo, which I think is a great name.

ScarletSienna Mon 19-Jun-17 15:06:16

I like Will and Theo but less so Billy and Teddy which makes it a hard choice.

Mrsknackered Mon 19-Jun-17 15:51:02

Billy! Love it smile

greendale17 Mon 19-Jun-17 15:53:20

Teddy is cute when they are young. Not so much when they are 25

FfionFlorist Mon 19-Jun-17 16:22:43

Both long names are fab but don't really like Billy.
