Thank you. We are struggling to decide but don't want to announce the names yet so can't ask anyone IRL.

Conor is my favourite name for a boy and IRL all the Conors I've known have been lovely.

I have a Conor who just turned 1 and I still absolutely love the name!! My DH is Irish so, for us, it is the perfect name to link him to his Irish heritage with the Irish spelling.
To be fair, Lewis is also very nice too!

Connor is the surname.

Why not Lewis? Fine if you just don't like it but just you worded it oddly to not just put Conor!

Connor is the surname spelling.

Conor is how the Christian name is spelled.

Conor is lovely. Lewis, not so much.

OP you know what I'm sorry, I totally over reacted, I'm really quite poorly with shingles and I'm puking up constantly. So I apologise , I'm just clearly in a shitty mood. Fwiw, I like Lewis too but obvs like conor/connor

BluebellsareBlue · 18/06/2017 23:30

I also lost my mum last month and with that being her maiden name.....sorry Sad

Report
DramaAlpaca · 18/06/2017 23:30

I like both, but Conors are ten-a-penny here (Ireland) so I vote for Lewis.

@BluebellsareBlue Flowers I hope you feel better soon. Sorry if I offended you, Connor is lovely too and even nicer that it's your mum's maiden name.
