I've seen it a lot here and online it says it is quite high up the list but not sure in that's in England or America. Also do you like it : approve? smile Wouldn't like it to be everywhere shock

The only Hazel I know is a very cute Jack Russell who belongs to my friend.

I like the name a lot.

Jooni Mon 12-Jun-17 20:06:42

I like it and it's not very popular in England and Wales at all at #219 last year. More popular in the States and climbing here but still not overused at all. Go for it!

DarkFloodRises Mon 12-Jun-17 20:07:59

I don't know any Hazels. I like it.

ImADingleDangleScarecrow Mon 12-Jun-17 20:08:55

I only know two - one who is 40 and the other is in her 60s. Have never come across a young Hazel so I don't think it's overused. Certainly not in my area anyway.

Only know two Hazel's, both mature ladies 70 plus.
It's a nice name.

I have an 11 year old hazel, don't know of any others. Hope it doesn't become too popular

user1497292938 Mon 12-Jun-17 21:14:09

clueless, same here, i hope it isnt / doesn't because that would put me off using it a bit

cluelessinstyle Mon 12-Jun-17 21:15:42

She and I like the fact there are' t many of them. Makes labelling very easy, no need for surnames

user1497292938 Mon 12-Jun-17 21:52:57

DramaAlpaca Mon 12-Jun-17 21:54:13

It's a really lovely name. I only know one and she's in her 20s.

EnglishRose1320 Mon 12-Jun-17 21:57:55

I'm sure I recall some celebrity with a baby Hazel.

Riderontheswarm Mon 12-Jun-17 22:15:32

I like it a lot and I don't know any. I suggested using it when I was pregnant but my DH used to work with one, didn't like her and couldn't get past it.

IWantACheeseburger Mon 12-Jun-17 22:19:14

I know two, one is me and the other is in her 40s.
It's a great name, I love that it's unusual.

indigox Mon 12-Jun-17 22:20:20

I know three, a child, 20-something and an OAP.

poorbuthappy Mon 12-Jun-17 22:23:45

I met my one and only Hazel this weekend.
She was fabulous so I say yes.

Mulch Mon 12-Jun-17 22:25:33

I love the name Hazel it was on my shortlist if we'd had a girl

NennyNooNoo Mon 12-Jun-17 22:25:36

As long as your surname isn't Nutt...

I think it's nice and quite unusual. I've only ever known one Hazel and she would be in her 40s now.
