We wouldn't spell it Ciaran (have absolutely no connection to Ireland - people would struggle with the spelling!)

Kieran. Much underrated IMO. Also I had a crush on a Kieran at Unigrin

FWIW, Noahs are ten a penny round here.

Loads of Noah's round here too. Got very common. I have a Keir. Never thought about Keiran.

Pleeeeeeeease, no more Noahs!

Noah is so common amongst boys under 6 round here, it hardly serves to identify them at all!

Kieran. Noah is way too peaky imho. When your son is an adult everyone will know his age just from his name. Kieran is more timeless.

bumblingmum Sun 04-Jun-17 09:09:18

Go for Kieran. There is probably at least 1 Noah in each year of my children's school.

TopsOff Sun 04-Jun-17 09:10:57

Noah is EVERYWHERE but it's a nice name.

Kieran is rarer but I don't like it as much.

Rockaby Sun 04-Jun-17 09:41:07

Keir is lovely! I prefer that to either Kieran or Noah.

NannyR Sun 04-Jun-17 09:44:35

Kieran - lovely name and not as popular as Noah.

Noah. I'm sure Kieran is a lovely name, but every Kieran I've ever encountered has been a bellend.

My kids do a martial art. We live in very small town in southern England. There are 3 Noah's in our martial art school!
I don't like Kieran though!
