I'm in the early stages of pregnancy and trying to think of names. Dd is Merryn. We like Cornish names, but Celtic names in general would be fine. It's too early to know the sex so boy and girl suggestions would be welcome!

I'm so jealous you have a Merryn. It was my favourite girls name for DD2 but DH had other ideas!

The only vaguely Cornish names I know are Bronnen and Tegan!

Not Cornish names, but I also know a couple of girls in Cornwall called Bryher and Tean (after the Scilly islands).

My favourite Cornish names are Ebrel, Emblyn, Oula (means owl) and Enora (means honour). For boys I think Jory is nice.

Although I guess Merryn and Emblyn is a bit of a mouthful!

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I love Elowen and Lowenna, and I think Jory and Jago are nice but I'm not sure I can sell them to dh!
