What do you of these names - Felix or Albie?

I'm not keen on the name Albert so would it be weird to have Albion as the full / passport name for Albie? It's an old name for Great Britain apparently!

Felix for sure!! Love that name!

Not a fan of Albie or Albert at all.

Both lovely. I'd pick Felix as Albie is quite popular. Suggestion of Albus for full name?

You could have Albin/Albyn with Albie for short. I used to like Albie but a few z-listers have called their new baby's that and it's put me off. So, I prefer Felix.

Damp and pet cat-ish. Sorry.

I agree with the suggestion of Albus. I just think "up the Albion!!" otherwise

Albie short for Alban, Albin, Alberic or Albus

Felix.

I'm not a fan of all the Albie/Alfie/Archie names. Twee.

Felix is great.

Albie is OK as a nickname for Alban or Albin. I love those.

Like Felix. Not keen on Albie - too cute. Nice on a 5 yr old but could he carry it off as a 18yr old?

I'd probably go with Felix, I really like that name even though some people say they just think of a cat.

I know a guy in his 30s called Albie and have never thought it sounds babyish.

Felix, Albie is sickly twee.

Felix is a bit too popular and catty imo.

Albie is a lovely nn, but I agree, it needs a "complete" name for the bc.

Alberic, Albion or Albus, I guess? I personally really like Alberic.

I love both but if I had to choose just one it would be Albie, I would also just use Albie as the full name.

Last year Albert was 72nd, Felix 95th, and Albie 107th. So I'd say Albie is more popular if you include those called Albert but using Albie. They're also both rising VERY sharply, so there's gonna be more and more of them.

Dunno if that bothers you or not, OP.

Also, Albie looks like a misspelling of Alfie. And Felix is better than them both anyway.
