We have a 2 week old and have booked registration for next week to give us a cut off time to make a decision.!Choice between

Thomas
Oliver
Edward
Joseph

Any preferences?

redheadbarmaid Sun 21-May-17 22:25:41

I would go for Joseph.
Little baby Joey! !

Dontrocktheboat Sun 21-May-17 22:29:39

Joseph definitely.

Thomas and Oliver are quite dull. Edward is ok.

CricketRuntAndRashers Sun 21-May-17 22:37:32

Thomas.

Joseph is too "Mary & Joseph" imo and the other two are quite dull.

List your names in nn form to help you decide!!

MerlinEmrys Sun 21-May-17 22:39:42

They're all boring sorry but if I had to pick one it'd be Edward.

Snap8TheCat Sun 21-May-17 22:41:36

Prefer James. I know it's not on your list but it is similar in style.

PodgeBod Sun 21-May-17 23:02:12

Edward nn Teddy

I have an Edward so obviously that's my favourite, but these were all in my top ten. You clearly have good taste grin

ScarletForYa Sun 21-May-17 23:09:02

Joseph

SuperBeagle Sun 21-May-17 23:09:44

I love all of them.

Depends which you like of Tom, Olly, Ed/Eddie or Joe more.

I like Eddie and Joe, so I'd choose Edward or Joseph (don't like Ted/Teddy for Edward at all though...).

Sierra259 Sun 21-May-17 23:14:12

Joseph. Only because it's a little less common than the others. They are all lovely names.

Sophronia Mon 22-May-17 00:24:15

Thomas or Joseph

Awwlookatmybabyspider Mon 22-May-17 00:33:05

I love Thomas but Tom.

Buntysoven Mon 22-May-17 00:33:23

Joseph by a million miles

YouWhatMate Mon 22-May-17 00:58:20

Thomas

JemimaPuddleDuckle Mon 22-May-17 01:35:25

They are all lovely names and most of them potentially have a shortening that others could use eg Tom, Joe, Ed, Ollie. Maybe deciding which of those you like best could help you decide? Congratulations.

stitchglitched Mon 22-May-17 01:38:12

Edward. I also have one so maybe biased!

StarsAndStripes18 Mon 22-May-17 02:41:20

Thomas. Although I may be biased as my son is Thomas but he's known as Tom.

CaipirinhasAllRound Mon 22-May-17 07:03:08

Edward. Oliver is my least favourite as it seems the most popular to me

17caterpillars1mouse Mon 22-May-17 07:04:36

Thomas

There are already enough Oliver's (at least around here)

Lemondrop99 Mon 22-May-17 09:44:24

Joseph is lovely. I'd pick this.

Edward (nn Teddy) seems to be the "in thing" at the moment so I'd avoid that as I foresee classes full of Teddies in a few years.

ThroughThickAndThin01 Mon 22-May-17 09:47:15

Joseph, but only if you like Joe.

CocoLoco87 Mon 22-May-17 09:51:22

Joseph / Joey / Joe. Adorable!

Sugarpiehoneyeye Mon 22-May-17 10:43:52

Joseph Thomas.
