Love it. .

quinoabeanwah · 25/04/2017 20:55

My (joint) favourite little boy in the world is called Noah. I think it's beautiful.

Hamsolo · 25/04/2017 20:56

Love it. It's very popular though, if you mind about that.

TurquoiseBoat · 25/04/2017 20:57

Great! Thanks Smile I did wonder about popularity Sad

I really like it but it does seem to be popular at the moment - it gets mentioned a lot on this board.

Shylo · 25/04/2017 20:59

It is a lovely name - I would have chosen it but my mum insists on pronouncing it 'Nor' which drives me mad so my DS is Elijah instead

It's not THAT popular, and I wouldn't be put off using it

lilyborderterrier · 25/04/2017 21:05

Lovely xx

RickGrimes · 25/04/2017 21:09

I love it.

SuperBeagle · 25/04/2017 21:13

I don't like it. Having spent most of my childhood being Bible beaten in a Catholic school, Noah will now always be a deluded old man with and ark.

Even though I know actual Noah's.

brownear · 25/04/2017 21:21

Love it. I know it's popular but I love it anyway!

WhispersOfWickedness · 25/04/2017 21:23

I have one, so obviously love it Smile Popularity will depend on where you live really, we know one other, but none in his class/school, so it's not annoyingly popular here.

pipilangstrumpf · 25/04/2017 21:26

I dislike it. Sounds like a whiny NO.

strawberrypenguin · 25/04/2017 21:26

Love it but it is very 'now'

ScarletForYa · 25/04/2017 21:28

It's nice. Probably has a sister called Olivia!

HDAM · 25/04/2017 21:35

I like it however I know five under fives called Noah.

SucklingDuckling · 25/04/2017 21:37

Love it but I only have 5 friends with baby boys and 3 of them happen to be called Noah

Sophronia · 25/04/2017 21:40

Not keen. It's very popular and trendy.

DramaAlpaca · 25/04/2017 23:31

I dislike it. Sounds like a whiny NO.

Exactly this ^^

SometimesItRains · 25/04/2017 23:35

I love it, although mine has decided (at 4) that he wants to be Oscar instead Confused

User24689 · 26/04/2017 00:36

Here in Australia little Noahs are everywhere. There is one in every baby group I go to and 3 in my DDs daycare class. It's nice, but I don't get its apparently huge appeal tbh.

SuperBeagle · 26/04/2017 00:39

Here in Australia little Noahs are everywhere.

Yep, no. 4 in NSW in 2016.

AndNowItIsSeven · 26/04/2017 00:39

It's awful.

Not for me either, sorry OP.

FeedTheSharkAndItWIllBite · 26/04/2017 08:11

I think it's ok for a boy. But Noa is one of my favourite girl's names...

goldenrachita · 26/04/2017 09:47

The positives: it's nice sounding, a biblical name with a real history, most people like it, easy to pronounce, obviously a boys' name, easy to get souvenirs and personalised items for your child as it's everywhere
The negatives: It's very overused. With names like Oliver/William this matters a bit less as they have always been popular anyway, but Noah will date really badly because it's such a new trend of a name, a bit like Jason or Sharon in the 70s (both nice names with biblical roots but became a cliché)
