Only if his brother is going to be Stone.

Nope no and nope again. Rock or Rocky sounds awful, unless you can guarantee stardom later in life.

Rocco is fine.

Great, if your surname is Flintstone.

Please don't.

Report
PurpleDaisies · 17/04/2017 16:51

It's awful.

Rock Hudson's given name was Roy. You could use it as a nn for a different R-name (Rory?) but please don't inflict it on the birth certificate

DPotter · 17/04/2017 16:53

Please please don't.
If you're in to things geological how about Tor?

Report
Gallavich · 17/04/2017 16:53

You can't do that!

Report
Chottie · 17/04/2017 16:53

Please no x 1 zillion times.

It sounds like Barney Rubble's brother.

He'll need a sister called Roll.

I agree with the suggestions of Rocco.

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 17/04/2017 16:56

Yes Rocco is lovely!

Report
CuppaTeaTeddy · 17/04/2017 16:56

Was this a serious suggestion? Can we hear the other names on your list?

Report
user714205 · 17/04/2017 16:57

Ha, I agree with you ladies but my husband made me post that pretending it was my choice too so you would be more sympathetic....anyway thanks, it's definitely backed up my argument!!

There are a few in the Scottish records. My favourite is Rock Crumble - please use that as a middle name!

He'll have people teasing him for the whole of his life about if they can smell what he's cooking ;)

Reow · 17/04/2017 17:03

He might end up with fifty bentleys in the West Indies

harderandharder2breathe · 17/04/2017 17:43

No no no

Glad at least one of the child's parents can see sense!

Report
Rockaby · 17/04/2017 17:55

It doesn't matter though, does it reow (arf)? Sorry, I need to get a life!

I like Rocco a lot and Rock could be a nice nn for Rory as suggested by pp.

Flint is another possibility maybe? Not my personal favourite but still, it's an option.

Freddie Flintoff has a Rocky.

I think there are better names out there.

Personally, I think Brick is better. Or perhaps Slab...hmm.
