Baby son is a week old. We have two older sons with unusual but easily pronounced names. We would like our third boy to have a similar type of name.
DH favourite was Percy and mine was Rafe. We have vetoed these two as we each dislike each other's first choice.
This is our compromise list:
Asa - was joint favourite but now I'm having cold feet - DH is still keen. Is it too uncommon? Will baby spend life correcting its pronounciation? (Ace-uh).
Jago (Jay-go but dislike nn Jay)
Quentin (nn Quinn)
Sebastian - but bit too similar to our surname.
I have unusual name, which I like but dislike the fact that I have to continually spell it out to others. So want to save my son from difficult pronounciations/spellings.
Which name would you choose?
Or please suggest other names of same style.
Thank you.
