Woaaah! So many different names.

I personally thin some of these are awesome (yes, I'm totally poaching them for my list for DC2....) Grin

My guilty pleasure names are also Alon (not in the UK...), Castor, Maxima, Emeraude, Olympe/Olympia and Misha....

My favourite names of all time are Chloe and Flynn.

I didn't use either for my children. We decided that Chloe was just too popular (it's still in the top 5 where we live). Still sucks a bit that we won't ever have a Chloe, as it's been my favourite since I was a young teenager.

Flynn simply doesn't go with our last name. It's much easier to let go of a name when it doesn't work with your surname than it is just because the name has been insanely popular for 15 years. My best friend plans to use Flynn if she ever has a boy in the future, so that's good. At least I'll know one! Smile

I love the name Calico, like Alice Cooper's daughter. I'd never use it but sounds awesome.

I like Aster and Luna (Star and Moon) for girls too, but am not brave enough to use them either.

I love Damian for a boy, despite its connotations, and will fight for it if we ever have a DS.

Marina, Wulfric, Eric, Elric, Malachi, Gabriel, Paloma and Ray have been mentioned more than once (I'm sure I missed some).

Just realised that I also like Corvus (maybe a bit sinister sounding for a child, so more of a gp name, I suppose Wink)

Flynn simply doesn't go with our last name. It's much easier to let go of a name when it doesn't work with your surname than it is just because the name has been insanely popular for 15 years

I imagine... DH's family names are imo so awful (he knows, don't worry) that I basically said "to heck with it", as far as finding a name that sounds with them goes.

My family is so big that many names I love have already been taken (often more than once...). We obviously could have used it. But do you really want to add an other Mila to the Mila/Milo/Mira/Mira/Meera mix?

Oh there are so many I love - too many to list really!

The only names which I might call a 'guilty pleasure' are girl names; Star and Rain. I love them, but know lots of people would think they are a little silly or out there.

Thanks sugar!

Sadly, the only chance of me actually using them, is if I ditch my DH or have him brainwashed *, as he would veto the bejaysus out of them! Too extreme Grin?

*LIGHTHEARTED - I am not actually considering these options.
