No I don't mean spellings of Caden! Just wondered if that is the actual male form? Or if there are any others?

Cadence is a not a traditional female name in any of the Western European languages I'm familiar with (including English, obviously). So there won't be a traditional or usual male version.

It appeared in the US in the early 90s, though in very low numbers, and became more popular there in the early 2000s, probably due to the film American Wedding, reaching its peak 2005, at 404 per one million babies.

Cadence is a noun meaning modulation or inflection of the voice or rhythm.

If you like the name but have a boy, you could go with Cadence (no reason it can't be a unisex name) or pick a name usually give to boys that sounds similar.

I would think of Cadence as male and the (Italian) Cadenza as female.

Seriously, just give the child an actual name.

Cadence is a feminine noun in most European languages that have genders.
eg. Cadence (French), Cadenza (Italian), Cadencia (Spanish), Kadenz (German), etc.

The Germanic/Scandi languages might sound more masculine to some ears: e.g, Kadenz (German), Kadens (Swedish), Cadans (Dutch), etc.

As people have said it isn't a name.

But Clarence sounds similar for a mans name.
