Two very different names.... Edward gets my vote.

TimeLoop Fri 10-Mar-17 18:04:50

Are they? In what way? smile

Kazzawazza69 Fri 10-Mar-17 18:07:40

I have a Dylan so I'm obviously going to say that! More options for nicknames with Edward though if that's important to you.

Sugarpiehoneyeye Fri 10-Mar-17 18:11:57

Definitely Dylan, I have one too. 😄

Sandsnake Fri 10-Mar-17 18:12:53

I prefer Edward. Congrats!

ThroughThickAndThin01 Fri 10-Mar-17 18:13:10

I think they're really different too.

Dylan for me.

RuthB4 Fri 10-Mar-17 18:13:32

Gosh that's a tough one! Both are lovely names! I'm going to say Dylan because i have a gorgeous nephew called Dylan. But I do love all the nickname options for Edward!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints Fri 10-Mar-17 18:14:59

Out of the 2 I would say Dylan but I also love the nn Ned for Edward.

n0ne Fri 10-Mar-17 18:22:02

I agree that they're really different. If you have any Welsh connections, I'd choose Dylan. If not, Edward.

OneSecondAfter Fri 10-Mar-17 18:24:28

Dylan.

Patriciathestripper1 Fri 10-Mar-17 18:25:48

Dylan Edward John surname sounds great

wobblywonderwoman Fri 10-Mar-17 18:26:41

Very different names. I would go for Edward

Imaginingdragonsagain Fri 10-Mar-17 18:27:14

I like both! Would go with Edward though

TheTartOfAsgard Fri 10-Mar-17 18:28:48

I love them both, they're both on my list. But, in your case I'd choose Dylan, purely for the fact that 'JEDWARD' are John and Edward.

apotheke Fri 10-Mar-17 18:48:47

Edward, by a mile. Really contrasting choices which is unusual on here.

Rockaby Fri 10-Mar-17 18:51:58

Edward is one of my all time favourite boy names, so I'd definitely go for that.

I'm not mad about Dylan.

MollyHuaCha Fri 10-Mar-17 18:53:04

Edward - classic, sophisticated and timeless.

MrsBungle Fri 10-Mar-17 18:54:06

Dylan for me.

Jooni Fri 10-Mar-17 20:01:17

Definitely Edward.

BaymaxismyHero Fri 10-Mar-17 20:16:24

Both are nice. But really like nn Eddie

Roseandbee Fri 10-Mar-17 20:57:31

Dylan is a fave name for me

CheckpointCharlie2 Fri 10-Mar-17 20:58:49

Dylan John could be DJ!

DoIDareDisturbTheUniverse Fri 10-Mar-17 20:59:37

Edward... although I may be biased wink

GavelRavel Fri 10-Mar-17 21:01:30

Dylan for me but I am biased. Edward is inoffensive though. For me Edward is traditional, solid, maybe slightly unadventurous. Dylan used to be a bit more unusual (outside of Wales) not so much these days but round here comes across as a bit more modern/non traditional
