They're lovely. I LOVE Matilda so would vote that and probably Albert. Not keen on Albie as a nn but Bertie is cute.

My worries with matilda is that it would be shortened to Tilly (which I really dislike)

If you don't like Tilly, go with Faye. Then you don't have to worry. I love Matilda too but DD ended up with it as her middle name for the same reason.

I like both boys' names but Angus is particularly handsome Smile

Good luck!

Matilda and Angus.
(Mattie/Tilda).

Neither Matilda I know gets Tilly. One is always Matilda and the other is always Mattie. It's not one of those "inevitably shortened" names. I think if you introduced her as Matilda or whichever nickname you prefer, people will go with that.

I prefer Matilda and Angus. I think Gus is such a great nickname. Smile

Faye and Angus. I don't know any baby Fayes... And about nine million Matildas.

Faye and Angus are fab names

Haven't met a kid called either of these but know several Matildas and Alberts.

Matilda's are ten a penny these days
Faye is uncommon so I say go with that
Angus is ok if you're Scottish
Otherwise Albert

we're not scottish but maybe that's why i like it? it'd be pretty uncommon name from where i'm from

Faye and Angus!

Matilda/Tilly and Albert/Albie are quite boring due to overuse.

Angus definitely. The girls, I don't mind either way. I think Matilda a bit, because Faye makes me think of 'fey'.
